How to Request Data Deletion

As a user of Connecto: Instant Connection, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. Please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to connecto@ibyo.com
  2. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line
  3. Provide your account email address in the email body
  4. We will process your request within 30 days
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted

Data That Will Be Deleted

The following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Profile information (name, photos, bio, preferences)
  • Messages and communication history
  • Connection history and matches
  • Account settings and preferences
  • Device information and login history
  • Location data

Data Retention and Exceptions

Some information may be retained for the following periods:

  • Legal compliance records: up to 7 years as required by law
  • Security incident logs: 90 days for safety and security
  • Anonymized usage statistics: retained indefinitely (cannot be linked to individuals)

Note: If you have any active disputes or pending investigations, relevant data may be retained until resolution.

Additional Information

  • Deletion requests cannot be reversed once processed
  • Your data will be completely removed from our active systems
  • Backup data will be automatically purged within 30 days
  • You may need to delete the app separately from your device
  • If you create a new account, your previous data cannot be restored
